Jarod Jarod lived at the center for 30 years, before he escaped. He has a brother (Kyle) that's a pretender, and a sister who may, or may not, be a pretender. He has child like encounters with discoveries like pez and ice cream because he never experienced them at the center. Also because, in some innocent way he is still very much like a child, due to his isolation at the center. Made contact with his mother briefly, but where separated when sweepers where chasing him. Kyle Kyle has met Jarod and the two eventual got along. However, Kyle died from a gunshot wound. Jarod tried to save him but was unsuccessful. Faked his death to get away from the Center's sweepers in van that caught fire and exploded. Jarod thought he was dead initially, but latter discovered that he was still alive. He was trained by Mr. Raines to be a hit man. As a result he became almost an opposite of Jarod. Miss Parker Did you know that she can speak Japanese. As a child she too experienced the mysteries of the center activities. She knew Jarod when they were children at the center. Mr. Lyle is her brother. Her mother was shot by Jarod's father. Sydney Sydney has a twin bother that's been in a comma. Which was the result of a car accident that they were in, and Sydney claimed that is was his fault. He shot Mr.Raines. Sydney says that he meant to shoot Mr. Raines though, and not his oxygen tank. Temporarily lost his vision after an explosion in sub-level 27. However, he did regain his ability to see. Mr. Lyle He came to the Center during Mr. Parker's extended absence. Shortly after he arrived he introduced Sidney, Miss Parker, and Broots to a London operative named Brigitte. After framed by Mr. Raines for laundering money from the Center during a deal with a mob boss he took a 'vacation'. He's Miss Parker's brother. Triumvirate It means a council of three that rules over an organization. Mr. Parker is suspected to be a member since he founded the Center. They assembled once on the show to investigate Sydney, Miss Parker, and Broots (among the people there where: the man in the wheel chair, Mr. Parker, and Brigitte!) the investigation was called a 'T board.' The table actually was shaped like the letter T the Triumvirate sat at the front ( the --- part), and the person being questioned sat at the end of the T ( the | part). They temporarily kept Sydney, Miss Parker, and Broots in a holding cell before the investigation. Angelo He has the knowledge to escape the center at any time, and yet he stays. By touching a physical object he can assume the identity of the person that came into contact with it. Therefore allowing him to think their thoughts, and feel their feelings etc., as if they were his own. Angelo's real name is Timmy He wasn't a pretender (like Jarod) when he was brought to the center as a child. Mr. Raines put him through severe shock treatments in Sub-Level 27. Mr. Parker The Center was created by Mr. Parker, and is now being ran by himself, as well as the Triumvirate (which he is most likely a member of). Mr. Parker is not Miss Parker's real father. Mr. Raines Developed a young child named Timmy into the character known as Angelo. This was achieved through experiments in sub-level 27. He also experimented and worked with Jarod's brother Kyle. Kyle's personality and talents in such areas as assassination was the handy work of Mr.Raines. He wants to discover the truth about why Jarod is naturally a Pretender. Brigitte A London operative sent in as a sweeper to catch Jarod. She tried to assassinate Mr. Parker by placing an explosive on his helicopter. She now has long hair now (season 3), and it looks better that way. Broots A computer genius capable of hacking into most computers systems, although he's not a pretender. Won custody of his daughter because of information that Jarod provided the prosecutor with. He has helped Jarod on certain occasions. (i.e. searched Mr. Lyle's personal files) The Center Founded and now ran in part by Mr. Parker. They bring pretenders to the center to use them in simulations of certain events/activities (i.e. rescue attempts, terrorist attacks). These simulations have been used for corrupted purposes. The Center has used Jarod's simulations from his child hood. This is one of the reasons why Jarod seeks out unjust acts and trys to resolve them, and sometimes causes The Center trouble (i.e. Using money from their accounts to help others in need).
